Dortmund, 9th of January 2025 sovity achieved the recertification of their solutions for the latest Catena-X release, “Jupiter” (version 24.08) during the recent certification process, to ensure compliance with ecosystem standards and to leverage the innovative features of the new release.
Digital Twin Registry and Eclipse Data Space Connector recertified for Jupiter
sovity’s Eclipse Data Space Connector (EDC) and Digital Twin Registry (DTR) solutions are now officially recertified for compatibility with the “Jupiter” release. This certification ensures alignment with updated Catena-X standards while unlocking the benefits of Jupiter’s latest features.
Catena-X is a data space from the automotive sector that was established in response to several challenges in the automotive industry, including the complexity of value chains for companies. Catena-X provides a secure and standardized data space to enable compliance with regulatory requirements as well as improve supply chain transparency and efficiency in the automotive industry.
What are Digital Twin Registry and Eclipse Data Space Components Connector?
The Eclipse Data Space Components (EDC) Connector is an open-source solution for secure, interoperable data exchange within a Data Space, keeping businesses in control of their data.
The Digital Twin Registry (DTR) is a directory for the efficient identification and management of digital twins, which serve as virtual replicas of physical assets.
Additionally, sovity was sealed as a “Qualified Consultant” by Catena-X. As such, sovity enables companies to accelerate their own solutions, leveraging sovity’s proven components.
