Your role with us

Data, digital business models, start-ups and business development are the topics you talk about enthusiastically? Then you’ve come to the right place in our team. As Manager Business Development, you will strategically position sovity in the market, support customers and take responsibility for various internal and external business topics:

  • Develop markets and win customers through marketing and sales activities
  • Be responsible for sovity’s strategic direction in the market and develop effective methods of growing a B2B software product
  • Maintain our large network with the best executives and well-known companies such as BMW, Siemens, DEKRA and many more in Germany and Europe
  • Conduct customer meetings, get involved in project management and develop data-based business models together with our customers
  • Create the employer you want – help develop our startup, build professional internal company processes, optimize internal structures and the scalable use of our deep technology and expert knowledge

What you bring with you

  • Successfully completed training or studies in the field of business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Practical experience from activities in IT, business development and/or consulting (e.g. management consulting or business development at a tech company)
  • Good technical understanding and interest in delving deeper into topics such as IT architecture or data ecosystems
  • Experience in sales and/or marketing for a software product or tech company
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (German and English)
  • A strong customer focus and experience in communicating with industrial companies
  • “We’ve always done it this way” doesn’t exist with you: you question the status quo, drive efficient, state-of-the-art tools, working methods & co. that you sorely miss in large corporations
  • Motivation to help shape a young start-up and take responsibility for the results
