Its products are built on the Eclipse Dataspace Components (EDC) and certified for Catena-X, so automotive and manufacturing companies can exchange supply-chain data — traceability, product carbon footprints, quality data, certificates — bilaterally with their partners instead of pooling it in a central platform. sovity was founded in December 2021 as a Fraunhofer spin-off and holds a TISAX assessment.
